How every lot is verified
Each batch undergoes a mandatory two-stage analytical release process, performed by an independent third-party analytical laboratory (Janoshik Analytical), before it is offered for sale. First, reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) on a C18 column with a 0.1% TFA / acetonitrile gradient and UV detection at 214 nm quantifies peak purity. Single-peptide compounds typically assay ≥99%; each lot's exact purity is disclosed on its certificate. Research blends and stabilized compounds are disclosed at their true assayed purity — which may run lower due to the presence of multiple active components or stabilizing agents.
Second, electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) confirms that the observed molecular mass matches the theoretical mass for the target sequence. This rules out truncated synthesis products, deletions, or misfolded forms that might pass HPLC with artificially high apparent purity.
The resulting chromatogram, mass spectrum, and QC summary are recorded against a unique lot number and analysis date, and provided as a third-party certificate of analysis on request. The lot number on the vial label matches the certificate, making independent verification straightforward for your laboratory records. We do not offer lots with a certificate older than two years from the analysis date.
Storage and handling
Before opening
Store lyophilized vials at −20°C, protected from light, following standard peptide handling. Observe the date noted on the certificate of analysis.
Laboratory handling
Handle lyophilized material under appropriate laboratory controls. Any preparation of working solutions for in-vitro study should follow the researcher's own validated protocols and institutional safety procedures.
Documentation
Each shipment includes the lot number and certificate reference. Retain these with your laboratory records for reproducibility and audit purposes.
